Development of an afterschool e-cigarette and tobacco use prevention education program for middle school students (Funder: TRDRP)

Printer-friendly version

Through this community-partnered research project, Breathe LA, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carson, and UCLA will adapt an evidence-based classroom tobacco use prevention education program for the afterschool setting. We will also incorporate new information about e-cigarettes and update content regarding cigarettes and other tobacco products. The revised curriculum will then be pilot-tested through a feasibility study at two South Los Angeles middle schools.
